The Four Lighting Chambers
How to switch, calibrate, and trigger the four studio lighting environments: HERO, PLUS, SUPER, and ULTRA.
Rather than describing backgrounds in natural language, Kanna uses four calibrated photometric chambers. Each chamber is designed for specific emotional and cognitive contexts.
Chamber Catalog
1. HERO: Void Dual-Rim (hero)
- Key Characteristics: Pitch-black void (
#080B11), cobalt blue rim from left, warm amber-orange rim from right. Subsurface scattering on ears and cheeks. - Ideal For: Deep night coding, flow states, focused debugging.
2. PLUS: Flat Poster Cobalt (plus)
- Key Characteristics: Flat saturated cobalt field (
#1D4ED8to#2563EB), front-right key light, high poster readability, tactile paper tooth. - Ideal For: Release announcements, milestone celebrations, daylight coding.
3. SUPER: Electric Flame Silhouette (super)
- Key Characteristics: Profile silhouette against an obsidian void. A single electric cyan/cobalt rim traces the contour, with glowing amber eyes as the sole chroma point.
- Ideal For: High-stress incident response, late-night production hotfixes.
4. ULTRA: Graphic Ink Splatter (ultra)
- Key Characteristics: Graphic black silhouette running forward with familiar pack against a textured cobalt background with ink splatters.
- Ideal For: Build pass celebrations, sprint finishes.
